Congratulations to Lucy, Alice and Farrah (Year 9) and Megan (Year 10), who represented the school at the ESSA North West Secondary School Swimming Gala, on Wednesday 30th September, at Wigan Life Centre.
With schools attending from across the North West, the girls competed in both the medley relay and freestyle relay, showing fantastic determination, commitment and pride while representing the school. Their attitude, effort and sportsmanship were a credit to themselves and to our school community.
We are incredibly proud of these talented swimmers, who dedicate countless hours each week to training in the pool. Their hard work and commitment were evident throughout the evening's competition.
There is another round of the gala taking place in Blackpool, and we look forward to sharing the final results once the competition has concluded.
A big thank you also goes to the parents and families for their continued support, encouragement and transport to and from events. Your support is greatly appreciated and plays a huge part in our students' success.
