Year 7 Rotary Cup Tournament at UCLan Sports Arena
On Thursday 18th May, 7 of our Year 7 boys along with 7 of our Year 7 girls, from the respective school football teams, took part in the Year 7 Rotary Cup Tournament at UCLan Sports Arena.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2023
We supported Mental Health Awareness Week in school from 15th to 19th May and the official theme for this year is anxiety.

South Ribble Schools Gymnastics Championships
In February, our Gymnastics team competed in the South Ribble Schools Floor and Vault Championships at Worden Academy.

On Tuesday 21st March, students in 7ST applied their detective inference and deduction skills to find out the reasons behind Lady Macbeth’s death.

The Big Legal Lesson
Our Year 7 and 8 students are taking part in The Big Legal Lesson, that is organised by Young Citizens, on Wednesday 29th March.
Swimming Superstar!
Beth A, in Year 8, is a really is a dedicated swimming superstar and has taken part in three county swimming competitions already this year and won lots of medals!

Open Doors - visit from Naomi
We were very happy to welcome Naomi from Open Doors to Balshaw's on Monday 13th March to lead our act of worship for Years 7 and 8 and run interactive sessions on the persecuted church around the world for Years 8-11.
International Women's Day 2023
