For World Book Day this year, we had a story written by Rebekah S whilst she was in Year 11 here in 2023!
Students enjoyed this each day in tutor time
BUT the story isn’t finished SO our competition this year is to write what they think happens next as a competition for a book token prize!!! This can be as a plot sketch; a story board OR the next chapter if you feel inspired! Deadline 20th March!
*ALSO: we had guest readers in the library each lunchtime reading an extract of their FAVOURITE book or a brand-new YA book that we think students would love! PLUS, we had virtual author visits zooming into the library and on students’ emails!
*AND: Students were sent lots of emails from Dr. Breen over the week full of activities, quizzes and OTHER super book fun!!"
