Advent Memorial Service

On Monday 4th December, we held our annual Advent Memorial Service at Balshaw's.

The service was attended by families, staff, former colleagues, governors and was officiated by Luke our School Chaplain.

It was a peaceful and reflective time for everyone to pay their respects and remember loved ones they have lost. There were prayers, an address from Luke, an opportunity for silent reflection, lighting of candles and readings from the Bible.

Our Balshaw's choir sang 'There is a Higher Throne' and it was a beautiful performance by candlelight.

There was opportunity at the end of the service for people to write messages about their loved ones in the remembrance book.

Thank you to all those involved in making this night happen and to all who attended. This service continues to be an important part of the school year at Balshaw’s.
