World Book Day 2024!

We celebrated World Book Day in style with a number of fabulous activities and events.

During the week extracts from The Hitchhiker by Anthony Horowitz were shared and enjoyed by everyone in school. 

For our Literacy House Cup Challenge, our tutor groups were invited to decorate their tutor room doors. We were absolutely thrilled to see their amazing designs and thank everyone for all their efforts in taking part. Judging will take place very soon and the winner will be announced in due course!

Our wonderful Middle School Council organised a bake sale. Our bake sale, as always, was very popular and sold out at break, meaning there weren't many left to photograph!

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, brought and bought. You helped to raise the wonderful amount of £44.85.

 All the money raised will be donated to BookTrust, which is the UK's largest children's reading charity aiming to support children and families with reading. You can read more about their great work here.
