Year 8 and 9 Girls' Football Team Success

On Thursday 22nd February, our Year 8 and 9 girls’ football team played in their first ever South Ribble cup game.

We are delighted that after a very end to end game against Brownedge St Mary's, our superstars won 4-3! They now progress to the semifinal against either Leyland St Mary's or All Hallows!

Huge congratulations to our Year 8 team - Jess A, Brooke A, Daisy B, Eve C, Orla D, Liv H, Anabelle S, Lacey W and to our Year 9 team - Kate A, Freya A-S, Erin B, Imogen C and Skye W.

This is a such positive time for the growth of girls’ football. We have 8 of our South Ribble schools entering teams into the 11-a-side competitions for Years 8 and 9 and 9-a-side for the Year 7s!
