U16 Girls' Football Team Progress in the Lancashire Cup

On Thursday 18th January, our U16s girls’ football team were in action in the quarter final of the Lancashire Cup against Bishop Rawstorne.

Even though the conditions were very cold it didn’t stop the team from playing superbly well and securing a 2-0 win!

A big shout out to the whole team and to three of our Year 9 girls who stepped up to play too.

Imogen, from Year 9, scored a lovely first time goal, but goal of the season has to go to Charley with an absolutely stunning goal from at least 35 yards out!! Ball out of the air, 1st touch set for a half volley, and then, well, the rest is history!
